I’ve been doing one new thing each day since January 1, 2016. As of January 1, 2018, you can follow along with my new things on Instagram here. Some of my favorites have included the Coney Island Polar Bear Dip, sleeping outside to raise money for homeless youth, taking a trapeze class, going to Nairobi/Copenhagen/Mexico City, and qualifying for the NYC Marathon, which I plan to run in 2018.
Beyond doing new things, I have several creative habits that I try to make a daily practice:
- giving something away
- sending an email to someone I’d like to connect with
- coming up with 10 new ideas per day
